The Varsity Photography Competition
Judged by Andrew Catlin, acclaimed British photographer, artist, director and cinematographer

Varsity is delighted to announce that the competition will be judged by Andrew Catlin, a prominent English photographer and filmmaker. Catlin has worked extensively with NME; his photographs are featured on albums by Nick Cave, New Order, The Pixies, and many others. His wide and prolific scope of work includes art direction, graphic design, documentary work, music videos and books. Many of his pieces are held in galleries and collections, such as the National Gallery.

Deadline: Friday 11th February 2011
To enter, just send a high-resolution image of your photograph to the Arts Editor(arts@varsity.co.uk) with "Photography Competition" in the subject line.
You can include an optional description of the image to explain how it relates to the theme.
The winning image will be printed in Varsity the following week.
Each person may submit up to five images.
