Street Style: Bridge Street
This week, our photographers Noelle Woolery and Sean Irving went down to Bridge Street to find the best winter looks
In what feels like an endless winter, it can be hard to combine practical and warm outfits with your most stylish items. With a statement hat or timeless coat, however, the cold can be overcome. This week our photographers, Noelle and Sean, popped down to Bridge Street to find the trendiest winter warriors.
Jocelyn Scott is a local county councillor, but pulls off mega fashionista quite convincingly.
Her hat is from Accessorize and her classic coat is second hand, from Oxfam. Underneath, her embellished jacket is from Zara. Good layering, Jocelyn.
As for accessories, Jocelyn’s bag is also thrifted, and her sunglasses are from a boutique in Sydney, Australia. Jocelyn just gets cooler and cooler.
Rose studies Psychology at St John’s. Her top is from Banana Republic.
Her leather skirt is from H&M; leather items are a winter staple!
A necessary accessory, Rose’s scarf is from a market in Vietnam.
Connor is the schools liaison officer at Fitzwilliam. He’s pulling off the wrapped-up look. His bold scarf is from CU Sci-Fi Soc. Interestingly, Connor’s great uncle used to use this jumper as an engine block support when wielding.
His shoes are vegan Dr Marten’s. Very ethical, Connor.
Proving that fashion needn’t be constantly changing, Connor’s coat was from TK Maxx over seven years ago.
Jiping is also studying Psychology. She’s mastered the winter wardrobe with this reliable puffer coat from Calvin Klein.
Tom is at Magdalene and, like Connor, his outfit is a combination of old treasures. His scarf is from “the depth of the house.”
His shoes and coat are from his sister.
Repping more ethical fashion, his trousers are from Oxfam.
Emily has done very well with this faux fur coat from Miss Selfridge. Paired with an ear warmer from Tesco, I am jealous of how cosy her outfit looks.
Emily’s boots are from Topshop.
See something you like? Street Style is intended not only to show off the style kings and queens of Cam, but to inspire our readers. Maybe next week, you’ll make the list
