Sainsbury’s set to close Saturday until Thursday
Popular store in town centre will undergo a five-day renovation
Regular patrons of Sainsbury’s might find themselves at a loss for food options when the store closes tomorrow for a five-day renovation.
The Sidney Street location, which is a regular haunt for hungry students all over Cambridge, has been undergoing renovation for the last several weeks.
The process now seems to have entered its final stretch, with a planned closing on Saturday May 15th. The store’s new look will be unveiled on Thursday May 20th.
Several students expressed alarm at the closing. One first-year lamented, "I don’t know what I’m going to do for five days! I practically live on Sainsbury’s."
