Arms linked, student protestors began the obstructions at 7 a.m. this morning.

A visible police presence increased throughout the blockade.

Occupiers braved the cold to encircle the entire Old Schools and Senate House grounds.

The blockade lasted for 5 hours, though the occupation now continues.
