17.23pm Main march has mostly disbanded. Limited activity happening elsewhere.
16.15pm A period of relative quiet as protestors decide what to do next. Reports of kettling at Moorgate, and a potential move towards 'Occupy Finsbury Square'. London police confirms more arrests.
15.37pm Main march reaches end of Moorgate.
15.24pm March reaches destination - London Wall. Buildings boarded up and riot police watching from bridges
15.17pm London Police confirm front of march is now at St Paul's. Arrests are being made at the protest camp in Trafalgar Square
15.05pm March moving again, heading down Holborn Viaduct, according to agreed route. Police now behind protestors.
14.58pm Protestors have spilled out from containment.
14.53pm March still stationary at New Fetter Lane. No man's land between protestors, with a line of police in front, and a row of police horses. The gap between is apparently for the 'protection' of protestors.
14.46pm Horses approaching protestors at head of march. Tension increasing.
14.39pm March reaches end of New Fetter Lane. Lots of people at the roundabout to show support.
14.32pm Police have stopped march on Fetter Lane. Metropolitan Police have announced that they are engaging with protestors to continue on planned route. A number of arrests for public order have also been confirmed.
14.22pm March moving down Fetter Lane. Police forcing it to move slowly, and often stopping it.
14.15pm Main body of march reaches Fleet Street. Being slowed by heavy line of police.
14.08 pm Unconfirmed reports that police have blocked entrance to Trafalgar Square. No reports yet of any attempts to break in or out
14.01pm March seems to be held up on the Strand. Huge police presence
13.49 pm Reports of a 'breakaway' group of around 200 protestors heading for Downing Street
13.49pm Reports of helicopters, riot vans and a decision by the police to use plastic bullets in extreme circumstances
13.44 pm March seems to have split - most proceeding down the Strand, led by police, but a group of protestors have set up camp in Trafalgar Square
13.27 pm Update from the Metropolitan police:
"These conditions are that the protesters should gather for no more than two hours when the main body of the march arrives at London Wall, and that they should restrict their rally to the agreed location of London Wall. Protesters must also remain on the agreed route and must not enter Bank junction, Princess Street, Threadneedle Street, Lombard Street, Cornhill, Poultry and Mansion House
"Anyone who knowingly fails to comply with these conditions, or who incites others to fail to comply is committing an offence and may be liable to arrest."
12. 57pm The National Campaign Against Fees and Cuts is now claiming "tens of thousands" of people will join the march.
12.51pm Metropolitan Police confirm 2000+ students marching at Gower Street
12.38 pm March is on the move. Metropolitan Police confirm there is no intention to use water cannons today.
12.04 pm Cambridge students reach Gower Street. Huge police presence reported.
11.57 am Cambridge coaches arrive in London.
11.05 am Coach of Cambridge students pulled over by police during their approach to London. Allowed to proceed.
10.19am Route for march is confirmed.
